Motum featured in LIFTjournal – continued expansion in Europe

Motum’s continued development and expansion in Europe is highlighted in the latest issue of LIFTjournal. In an interview, Fredrik Eliasson, CEO of Motum and head of the newly established European organization within Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions, discusses the strategy going forward and how the organizations complement each other.

Motum and Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions are continuing to develop a more coordinated European organization. The aim is to strengthen collaboration between countries, create opportunities to share knowledge and experience, and make the most of synergies – while preserving local entrepreneurship and close customer relationships.

As part of the continued European expansion, Motum and Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions have, among other things, strengthened their presence in Ireland this year through the acquisition of Infinity Lifts Ireland. Infinity Lifts is the second Irish lift company to join the organization, following Ascension Lifts, which was acquired the previous year.

In the interview with LIFTjournal, Fredrik Eliasson explains more about the new European organization, why it was established, and the role Motum plays in its continued development. Among other things, he highlights the importance of combining increased European collaboration with strong local organizations and decision-making close to the customer.
