Take your lift to the next level with Thor control!

Welcome to Thor Control, the Motum Group’s open, flexible, and future-proof control system for lifts.

With Thor Control, lift owners across Sweden gain access to connected lifts with cloud services, without being tied to a specific supplier of spare parts. The system can also be integrated with older technology found in existing lifts, making it possible to achieve a state-of-the-art lift through modernisation — saving 50% on environmental impact compared to tearing out the old lift and installing a new one.

6 reasons to choose Thor control

  • One of the market’s most advanced, flexible, and user-friendly systems.
  • Enables the combination of connected lifts with an open control system that provides the freedom to purchase spare parts from any supplier, thereby saving money.
  • Connected lifts with Thor Control help increase the value of the property through optimised operation and integration with the building’s other lifecycle systems.
  • Built on Safeline’s THOR NX-T and equipped with two CAN bus interfaces adapted to CANopen-Lift.
  • No costly add-ons for extra features, as Thor Control comes complete with all the functionality a control system requires.*
  • Makes it possible to extend the lift’s lifespan and achieve a state-of-the-art lift through modernisation.
  • Modernising the lift results in at least 50% lower environmental impact compared to tearing out the old lift and installing a new one.

* Possible adaptations to external systems may apply

Functions

  • Advanced options for handling emergency transport, hazardous goods, and a range of other customer-specific transport requirements
  • Option to increase the lift’s speed from 1.0 m/s to 1.6 m/s in cases where shaft height previously limited the top speed to 1.0 m/s
  • With Selective Call “3 seconds”, different scenarios can be created, e.g. keeping the door open for 20 seconds
  • Multiple options to lock or open floors for traffic. Different scenarios can be configured in the system for various floors. Via card readers or remote control (e.g. from a central security office), floors can be locked and unlocked as required
