ITK Hiss AB and Hissgruppen Sverige AB merge under the new brand Motum Stockholm AB

To further strengthen our position in the Stockholm elevator market and create an even stronger customer offering, ITK Hiss AB and Hissgruppen Sverige AB have merged and will now operate under the new joint brand Motum Stockholm AB.

ITK Hiss and Hissgruppen both have a long history in the Stockholm elevator market, with operations dating back to 1977 and 1979 respectively. Since 2013, both companies have been part of the Motum Group, where they have developed their services in new installations, modernization, and elevator maintenance. By now combining their resources and operations, they are taking an important step toward a more unified and efficient organization.

“The merger is a natural next step for us. By bringing our strengths together under one brand, we can offer our customers even better service, with increased accessibility and a broader range of services and products,” says Sara Walldén, CEO of both ITK Hiss and Hissgruppen.

Starting in December, the company will operate under the name Motum Stockholm AB. To further strengthen collaboration, warehouses and offices will be consolidated in Bromma. The merger does not entail any organizational changes, and customers will continue to meet the same dedicated employees and contacts as before.

The merger also represents an investment in modernizing workflows and creating a simpler, more seamless customer experience. With open systems, high-quality solutions, and personal commitment, Motum Stockholm aims to continue being a reliable partner for elevator solutions in the region.
